Cause and Effect

Who is God? If reality is governed by order, then God cannot be understood as chaos, accident, or arbitrary force. God must be understood through the structure that holds reality together. One of the clearest signs of that structure is cause and effect.

Cause and effect is not an abstract philosophical idea imposed upon reality; it is the fundamental process through which reality unfolds. Without it, there would be no consistency, no predictability, and no possibility of understanding the world.

Every event, every outcome, and every condition exists as the result of prior causes. This is not occasionally true—it is universally true. Nothing happens without cause.
